 Our
'Product Gallery' serves to highlight those items in our product line that
we think will peak your interest. Later, we hope to expand our Gallery
to present more extensive descriptions and visual-aids to give you the
'touch and feel' of our beautiful products.
Our line of products
include three different categories:

knitting and crocheting products

Books, periodicals and
training videos
We chose to focus our
sales on yarn and knitting patterns, accessories and books. Much of the
stock is displayed prominently with little or no stock in closed storage.
Inventory levels are maintained by our custom information system and stock
is re-ordered on a weekly basis usually automatically. Separate display
areas are creatively setup to display certain yarns to allow you to handle
and examine the product closely. Examples of knitted products will be on
display for sale or for demo purposes only. Later, videos will be projected
in a key area of our shop to present short demonstrations of certain products
or certain crafts.
Intially, our business
will focus on the knitting and crocheting crafts but eventually we will
expand to spinning, weaving and dyeing of yarns. The focal point of our
shop is our ‘Knitting Parlor' that is prominently placed in front near
the main entrance to our shop. Here, customers are welcomed and encouraged
to bring their knitting/crocheting projects and socialize with other customers.
If you have begun a knitting or crocheting project and need a few specific
skills to be demonstrated to you, or if you have a few questions on how
to proceed, come join us in our Knitting Parlor where we will be available
to help you with a few minutes of Knitting Parlor Training Assistance.
Refreshments are served close by and background music or an open/muted
television is always on.
We rely on a very
active customer base for advice on our selection of products. We maintain
a VIP Bayberry Customer List (mailing list) to 'get the word out' about
our special sales and to survey our favorite customers on their preferences.

to leave your name and address information for our list.
With the help of
our customers, we expect to organize a variety of promotional activities
which may include projects such as ‘Knitting for Peace’, ‘Hat Knitting
Wars’, ‘Scarf of the month’ classes, ‘Home Knitting Parties’ and projects
with local youth organizations such as the Girl Scouts-Craft Badges. Finally,
special discounts will be given to students or student groups from registered
local schools.
The shop attempts
to provide a nurturing environment that allows and encourages the sharing
of information regarding specific products, ideas, experience, techniques
that the customer would not otherwise know.

making the very finest yarns available to you along with our top experts
on knitting and crocheting, we also have a complete and very comprehensive
collection of accessories to which we devote an entire wall. On that wall,
you will see a large assortment of needles and accessories for your selection.
Plymouth Bamboo, Inox, Prym and Bryspun Fexible needles and a varity of
crochet hooks.
